Hey guys! Guess what?!!

Did you know that there will be PRIZES!

1st place winner(s) will get the grand prize and two smaller prizes will be awarded for the two runner ups.

Even if you don't win, chances are, you will have your film screened during, or after school on the big screen!

Prizes are yet to be determined, but, they will be pretty good. Trust me!

This is just going to be a quick post.

If your movie is under 25 mb in size, you can e-mail it directly to us!

Here are the details you need to include:

Subject: 'Film Festival Entry"
Answer all the questions on the entry form

If your film is in HD, export it in a small format to e-mail it. If your film is chosen, you can bring in the original version to show.

Hey Guys!

Here is just a short post on how to enter the film festival!

Pick up an entry form in the office, or download one here. Just print off the form and fill it out and turn it in to one of the representatives (Landon Hill, Steven Pack, or Mr. Stoddard)

One more thing! You DO NOT have to be part of KAVE TV to enter the film festival. The festival is for any and everybody that wants to participate.

Hey guys! Here are the rules for the Film Festival!

ENTRIES ARE DUE FEB. FIRST 2012! NO LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED!

Categories:

Short Film (15 minute limit)
Film (25 minutes or more 50 minute limit)
Documentary (15 Minute limit)
Misc (10 minute limit)

RULES:

No Plagiarism

Do your own work

Keep it clean

No profanity or vulgarity
must be screen-able during or after school

No explicit violence
obey copyright laws
Late entries will not be accepted under any circumstances!!!
Teacher/Adviser participation

Teachers/advisers must not participate on more than 25% of the student's film

You must not exceed the time limit indicated.

Please submit your film in the following formats:

DVD (must play on a standard DVD player)
.mov (quicktime)
.mpg (quicktime)
.mp4
Formats not accepted:

.avi, .wmv, .wav, or any format quicktime player cannot play (i.e. windows based files)
Only above formats will be accepted. If you need help converting your film, please talk to KAVE TV staff.

Judged by AFHS Administration, KAVE TV, Landon Hill, and Steven Pack.
